From the workshop to research, one guiding thread: transforming industry.

From vocational training to a PhD, I have built a dual background: ten years in industry and more than ten years in higher education and research. I use it to lead R&D projects, connect products, processes and data, and turn sustainability challenges into practical solutions.

An unconventional career

From the workshop to research, while staying grounded.

I built my career step by step: a vocational qualification in machining, a technical degree, a professional bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and then an industry-connected PhD. Ten years in manufacturing methods, design and R&D preceded my current work as a lecturer-researcher.

This path enables me to connect workshop realities, engineering decisions and scientific questions, with a constant focus on industrial applications.
